Mobile Chiropractor

Axon Health is a mobile health care practice with the ambitious goal to redefine how healthcare is administered. They believe that health starts at home, so that’s where their patient care takes place. Their team is seeking a knowledgeable mobile chiropractor for the Colorado Springs, CO region (select your own treatment radius). The job is an independent contractor position. Their duties include providing high-quality rehab and conservative care for patientxe2x80x99s conditions and complaints, making co-treatment or referral recommendations, evaluating patientxe2x80x99s areas of complaint, rescheduling patients as necessary, and adjusting their treatment approach as necessary. There is an expected 60-minute team meeting once per month. This position is perfect for someone who wants the flexibility and benefits of being a business owner, but doesn’t want to do a lot of the back-end work. Job Requirements: Active Colorado DC license in good standing Colorado Drivers License and access to a car with valid insurance Good with pets and kids Can lift up to 50 pounds Knowledge of physical rehab (CRISP protocols) considered an asset Spanish-speaking considered an asset Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat patients with health problems of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine Perform spinal adjustments and manipulations to alleviate pain and improve mobility Develop customized treatment plans for each patient based on their specific condition and needs Provide recommendations for exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness Utilize medical imaging techniques, such as X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and massage therapists, to provide comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient Networking Clear communication with patients and team members Documentation of patient notes Attendance to team meetings Skills: Strong communication skills to explain diagnosis and treatment plans to patients Compassion and empathy for patients experiencing pain or discomfort Effective time management Growth mindset Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate documentation of patient records Job Benefits: Ongoing coaching and support Assistance with start up costs (Equipment, clothing, business cards, etc.) Pick your own schedule Ongoing back-end and administrative support (including billing and scheduling) Positive and encouraging team environment Annual flex budget for associated costs Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
