Chiropractic Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a chiropractic clinic setting. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with patient service, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and providing administrative support to the chiropractor. Individual must be driven and possess the ability to reach for a higher level of work ethic. Duties: – Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment – Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms – Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar – Escort patients to treatment rooms and prepare them for chiropractic procedures – Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history – Assist the chiropractor during treatments, following established protocols – Provide patient education on exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications as directed by the chiropractor – Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and common areas – Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Skills: – Excellent patient service skills, with the ability to create a positive and caring atmosphere for patients – Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist with patient assessments and treatments – Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals – Ability to accurately record patient information and maintain organized records – Proficient in using electronic health record systems or willing to learn – Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage appointment scheduling and administrative tasks Requirements: – High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus – Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
