Job Description As a Chiropractor, you will be responsible for providing direct chiropractic care to patients. You will work in a team environment with Chiropractors, Physical Therapists and Acupuncturists under the referral of the Occupational Medicine physician. You will be supported by office staff to manage authorizations, patient scheduling, and billing. This opportunity is open to W-2 part-time/full-time employees and 1099 independent contractors. Compensation model will vary according to employment status. Specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, injury prevention. Hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift- flexible to meet patient and clinic needs. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited chiropractic program Unrestricted California Chiropractic License (Required) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Job Duties Conduct patient consultations by reviewing health and medical histories, questioning, observing, and examining patients, and reviewing x-rays, as indicated. Creating personalized treatment plans for each patient according to their needs and goals Update and modify the treatment plan on an ongoing basis. Uses clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring patient progress. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients on proper posture, ergonomics, exercise and self-are techniques for injury prevention Maintain open communication with the patient, other team members, and referring physician (when applicable) regarding the patient’s plan of care and progress. Complete timely and accurate documentation.
