FLOAT POSITION-TRAVEL BETWEEN PORT CHARLOTTE/FORT MYERS/NAPLES REQUIRED Job Summary: We pride ourselves on having knowledgeable and caring chiropractors to assist patients with injuries and impairments of the neuromusculoskeletal system, including the muscles, nerves, and bones, especially those of the back and neck. The chiropractor will speak to patients to discuss injuries and health concerns, assess their physical condition and lifestyle, order tests, administer treatment, and provide advice about extended care and pain management. You should be thorough, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of musculoskeletal and nerve injuries and how to treat them. To be a successful chiropractor, you should be kind and communicative with exceptional active listening skills. You should also be able to analyze symptoms and provide comprehensive treatment or recommend other doctors or specialists if needed. Essential Duties: Working with patients to learn about injuries or identify health concerns and create a plan for treatment or management. Using tests, such as x-rays and MRI, to better understand a patientxe2x80x99s condition. Administering holistic treatments, such as spinal manipulation, adjustments, massage, and hot and cold compresses. Providing patients with tips to improve their lifestyle, exercise plans, and stretches. Tracking patient information, keeping detailed records of conditions and care. Attending conferences and workshops to keep current with development in Chiropractic care. Referring patients to other doctors or specialists, as needed. Job Requirements: Current Florida Chiropractic Physician license. Some positions may require specialization in a particular aspect of chiropractic care, such as accidents, sports injuries, the elderly, etc. Strong communication and active listening skills. Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions, and treatments. Understanding of stretches, exercises, therapies, and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health. Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations and medical tests. A commitment to providing the best possible care. Education Requirements: Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Key Performance Indicators (KPIxe2x80x99s): All KPIxe2x80x99s are recorded on a KPI Report and evaluated monthly, quarterly, and annually. KPIxe2x80x99s may change at any time per managementxe2x80x99s discretion. Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional medical office environment primarily. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job This is an active role. This position requires the ability to be able to lift patients. Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources, computer screens, and radiology exams. Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone. Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Regular hours of work vary due to clinic and patient needs.
