Salary: $85,000+/YrCarePath Injury Centers of Pennsylvania is Seeking a full-time, licensed Chiropractor for a New, Workers Compensation, MVA and Injury Treatment Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA.*Job Start Date will be in June of 2024 for training, and practice open date in July of 2024.xc2xa0Who we are: Our mission is to deliver the an all-in-one, best in class, therapy center for those suffering from injuries and accidents. We are a new practice with a mission to reach populations of people in need – starting with the Wyoming Valley, PA area. We will have an in-office team consisting of a visiting Physician, a Chiropractor, a physical therapist assistant, an acupuncturist, and medical leads in addition to supporting managers.xc2xa0Who We are Looking for: We are looking for a licensed DC in PA who is passionate about helping those in need and creating detailed, effective treatment plans for patients. This is a unique opportunity to have the ability to run the daily operations of the office and manage your medical team. Someone who is an effective communicator, responsible leader, reliable and eager to learn/adapt will do well in this role. Ideally, someone who is also bilingual/comfortable in communicating in both English and Spanish due to the large Hispanic patient population. We are open to entry-level chiropractors who are ready to learn and take on a leadership role.xc2xa0Job Details include:Running the day to day operations of the office – you will be in charge of at least two medical staff members and the general flow of the office operations, with guidance from the company managersPerform initial exams and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports)Order and review Diagnostic imaging/X-rays (to locate the sources of patients’ difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems)Evaluate the functioning of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the spine using systems of chiropractic diagnosisDevelop and prepare appropriate treatment plansPatient education as to diagnosis, treatment plan options, lifestyle modifications , nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, and stress managementCharting, detailed notes, and providing at-home therapy plans for each patient in a timely manner (same-day as appointments)Consult with and refer patients to appropriate health practitioners when necessaryPatient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessmentsLeading the in-office team to be kind, welcoming, supportive and helpful to both the patients and staff membersResponsible for helping grow the patient base and practice through exceptional care & serviceEffectively communicating with office staff members, and with supervisorsOther duties that arise as the office needsJob Requirements:Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC) – by June 2024Licensed Chiropractor able to practice in the State of Pennsylvania – proof of licensure is requiredKnowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical dysfunctionsAbility to learn and operate an EHR (Electronic Health Records System)Ability to effectively communicate with in-office personnel, patients, and other company membersAbility to take and follow direction from supervisorsAble to commute to Wilkes-Barre, PA on a daily basis with reliable transportationKnowledge of treating patients in the injury and accident space preferred*Bilingual in both English and Spanish is highly preferredBackground check authorization & required documents must be completed prior to onboardingSchedule:Monday-FridayCompensation:Starting salary of $85k+ dependent on knowledge and experienceHealthcare Allowance stipend to choose your own healthcare plan from the market place401K Retirement Plan3 Weeks of PTOxc2xa0 beginning after 4 months working with the company (*pro-rated, after review of 90-day probationary period)24 Additional Paid Hours for sick/doctor appointment purposesPaid Company Holidays (6)Supportive, Friendly environmentxc2xa0*90-day, and yearly reviews will be conducted by direct supervisor where additional compensation offerings may be available.xc2xa0CarePath Injury is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
