“`Duties:“`- Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their specific needs and preferences for massage therapy- Administer various massage techniques such as trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage to alleviate pain and promote relaxation- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals- Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring a comfortable and safe environment during massage sessions- Educate patients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the effectiveness of their treatment- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to coordinate patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records “`Requirements:“`- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist- Proven experience in performing trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and other therapeutic massage techniques- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and occupational health- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals- Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans- Knowledge of pain management techniques for acute and chronic conditions- Ability to adapt techniques based on patient preferences, conditions, and contraindications Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
