The Office Wellness Spa is a ONE OF A KIND Medspa/Medical Facility located in Grand Prairie near Ballpark. We offer a wide variety of services and treatments including primary care, spa services, chiropractic services, IVs, barbershop plus much more! We are seeking an outgoing and fun Licensed Massage Therapist for part-time to full-time work to join our Medspa/Wellness Facility family. You will be working alongside our Chiropractor to manage patients through muscle work, adjustments and physical therapy. We will provide paid full 2 week training upon start date on our office flow and protocols. Must be comfortable and skilled with myofascial, trigger points and stretching. Must be skilled and comfortable in therapeutic wellness, deep tissue, hot stone, lymphatic and prenatal massages. Position Requirements: License Massage therapist with a valid license in the state of Texas and 2+ years of experience Professionalism Punctuality Dependability Maintain good time management Follow protocols that creat The Office Wellness Spa experience Maintain accurate client records Teamwork Mentality Social Media and Community Event presence Great Hands and Techniques Understanding of muscles/anatomy Treatment Coordination EMR System Experience Customer Service and Sales Experience Maintaining Massage License and all continuing education required for license renewal Duties: – Perform massage therapy techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for clients – Work collaboratively with the team to integrate other offered services and treatments – Work alongside Chiropractor to assess clients’ needs and create personalized treatment plans – Utilize various massage techniques such as Therapeutic, deep tissue, sports massage, lymphatic, hot stone massage and prenatal. – Provide acute pain management and trigger point therapy for clients with specific conditions – Maintain accurate and detailed client records – Educate clients on self-care techniques to enhance the benefits of massage therapy -Record and post for social media -Attend various promotional/marketing events with The Office team -Meet standard sales goals for packages, memberships, reviews and referrals Qualifications: – Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist – Proficient in pain management techniques and trigger point therapy – Strong patient service skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service – Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology – Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patients’ conditions – Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols – BILINGUAL IS A PLUS* Skills: – Pain management – Trigger point therapy – Patient service and sales – Acute pain management – Physiology knowledge – Occupational health – Medical terminology – Physical examinations – Anatomy knowledge – Patient assessment and treatment planning *This is an hourly position with potential for added commission based on experience and drive.
