Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them improve their overall well-being and manage pain. Responsibilities: – Perform physical examinations and assess clients’ medical history to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans – Administer various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized modalities – Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment during each session – Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques for continued wellness – Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients – Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy and related fields – Adhere to all occupational health and safety guidelines – Helping with laundry and cleaning your room Qualifications: – Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of [LOCATION] – Proven experience in performing therapeutic massage treatments – Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to assess patients’ needs and customize treatment plans accordingly – Proficient in pain management techniques, including acute pain management – Familiarity with trigger point therapy and other specialized modalities – Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate client records Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
