Responsibilities:- Perform professional massage therapy sessions for clients, following established protocols and guidelines.- Assess clients’ needs and create customized treatment plans to address their specific concerns.- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout the session.- Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and acute pain management, to alleviate muscle tension and promote relaxation.- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of concern and develop appropriate treatment strategies.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients.- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques and attend continuing education courses as required. Requirements:- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist in the state.- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles.- Proficiency in performing deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.- Strong assessment skills to identify areas of pain or discomfort in clients.- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.- Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.- Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods of time.- Willingness to adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality.
